Cloud storage for post-production teams

Editors, colorists, and DITs shouldn't wait on downloads or juggle duplicate drives. StreamFS presents your footage — stored in your own S3-compatible bucket — as an ordinary local volume. Scrub a timeline, pull a clip, or open a project and the bytes stream on demand, cached locally so repeat reads feel native. No full-project sync, no sneaker-net.

built for the edit bay

Open heavy media in place

Work directly with .r3d, .braw, .mov, .wav, .exr, and .dpx from the cloud. Files appear instantly and stream as you scrub — you only pull the frames you actually touch, not the whole 4 TB card.

Project files stay safe

Premiere, Resolve, and After Effects projects get advisory locks the moment someone opens them, so two people never silently overwrite the same cut. Conflict-safe writes mean no lost work — a losing save is kept, never discarded.

Source media is immutable

Camera originals are marked read-only after ingest, so footage can't be altered or deleted by accident. Your masters stay exactly as shot.

your footage, your storage

Point StreamFS at AWS S3, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, or any S3-compatible provider and pay storage at provider rates instead of bundled markup. Your bucket credentials are encrypted with keys only you hold — the StreamFS server never sees them, so your dailies and masters stay yours. Native clients run on Linux, macOS, and Windows, so the whole post team mounts the same workspace from whatever they cut on.
