Remote media collaboration, done right
When your team is spread across cities or working from home, shuttling terabytes around stops being an option. StreamFS gives everyone one shared workspace backed by your own S3-compatible bucket. Each person mounts it as a local drive and opens files on demand — no full-sync download, no waiting for a 500 GB folder to land before anyone can start.
one workspace, every location
Work from anywhere
Mount the same workspace from any location and pull only the bytes you open, cached locally for native-speed repeat reads. A new teammate is productive in minutes, not after an overnight sync.
See changes as they happen
A live change feed propagates edits across the team in real time — new files, renames, and deletes show up right away, so everyone is looking at the same state.
No two-person collisions
Advisory locks mark a project file as in-use the moment it's opened, and conflict-safe writes keep a losing save instead of discarding it. Nobody clobbers anyone.
your data stays yours
StreamFS is bring-your-own-storage: connect AWS S3, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, or any S3-compatible provider and pay storage at cost. Bucket credentials are encrypted with keys only you hold, so the StreamFS server never sees them — your team collaborates without handing anyone the keys to your data. Native clients on Linux, macOS, and Windows keep every site on the same workspace.
